Eckhart Tolle
Eckhart Tolle is concept-transcending spiritual teacher whose message allows anyone who is ready to work towards a state of egoless union with the rest of life. It is almost impossible to describe the stuff he is saying, so all I can say is that it is extremely relevant to everything that every single person on earth today is experiencing- personal, financial, professional, romantic, familial and spiritual relationships. I was personally transformed by his books and I encourage you to explore them yourself.

Ishmael
Daniel Quinn wrote many paradigm-shifting books about new tribalism and human-oriented ways of living, the most famous of which is his first book, Ishmael. He is also an amazing teacher of how to think outside the box…seriously. This website expands on all of Quinn’s books and provides more resources for self-learning.
Joanna Macy
Social change activist Joanna Macy effectively combines Buddhist teachings, deep ecology and living systems theory to develop holistic approaches to solving environmental and social problems on a paradigm-shifting level. She also develops models of change the individuals can use in their personal lives.

Ruckus Society
A drastically unconventional, offbeat non-profit organization led by environmental justice activist Adrienne Marie Brown. The Ruckus Society’s philosophical mission is to work for change by giving power back to those communities impacted most by inequality in resource and power distribution. It provides these communities the training, resources and social tools necessary to bring about change themselves.

Venus Project
Social designer Jacque Fresco’s non-profit organization based in Venus, Florida, USA. The Venus Project is working for “nothing less than the total redesign of our culture.” It’s goal is to create a resource-based economy in which technology, nature and people coexist sustainably. There is no money, politics or work. Science and technology provide the physical necessities of life so that people are free to work under complete creativity and love. I am simply fascinated and intrigued by the project. I find some of the ideas a bit challenging to implement but I think it’s definitely one of the more effective and radical movements to have ever hit society.
Zeitgeist, the Movement
The actual global movement that the documentaries (see below) described.
Zeitgeist, the Movie
Nothing short of revolutionary, the movie, Zeitgeist, and the sequel, Zeitgeist: Addendum, are two free, independent documentaries that 1) expose the corporations and social institutions that are controlling and destroying the world behind the curtain in the name of profit and 2) describe how the people of the world can bring about a more sustainable, equitable and meaningful society by following the ecological laws of emergence and symbiosis.
